The sixth form at Oldbury College of Sport is an exciting stage in your educational journey. You will find your experience with us a structured transition between school and higher education, a preparation for learning to be independent, to plan work and organise resources and a chance to contribute positively to the community.

As a sixth former at OCOS, you will have a huge range of opportunities available to you. It will be very much up to you to take these on board and make the most of them – sporting, cultural, voluntary and various positions of responsibility within the sixth form.

Academic work will be at the heart of your sixth form journey and you will be expected to work hard, plan, organise your time and use the learning to learn skills you have equipped yourself with to succeed.

Much of the work will be demanding and you will need the focus and commitment to get the most of whichever course you follow. However, the rewards of hard work and dedication will be the foundations for a future success at university and beyond.

The sixth form will be an exciting and challenging time for you. It should be an immensely rewarding and enjoyable time in your life and one that you will look back on with fond memories.
