| A warm welcome to Oldbury Academy. A unique insight, too, into our philosophy, our policy and our procedures. We welcome your interest in the Academy, an establishment that all partners are proud to be associated with. We have high expectations and we have made enormous progress in recent years, securing some of our best ever examination results and improving year upon year. We are immensely proud of these achievements and recognise the expertise and tremendous commitment of our staff. There can be no complacency and no ceiling to where we might aim to be in years to come and the Outstanding OFSTED report in 2011 will mean very little unless we fulfil our aspirations and ambitions. Academy conversion is a step in the right direction, it provides the springboard for future success and development. I urge all stakeholders to rise to the challenge, embrace the changes ahead and to have the courage to initiate and support the change that will allow us to move to these higher levels by transforming the learning experience at Oldbury.
